Martha’s Village & Kitchen will begin its annual Christmas Celebration for the community on Monday, December 21, 2009, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm by handing out Christmas baskets which will contain a frozen turkey and canned food to approximately 1,500 families in need who have pre-registered. H1N1 flu shots will also be made available. (Registration continues Thursday, December 17 and Friday, December 18, 9:00 am – 11:00 am.)
On Christmas Day, December 25, 2009, starting at 10:00 am, there will be a delicious roast beef meal followed by a new toy distribution for children, ages infant - 14. Children must be present to receive a toy. Service is first-come, first-served.
