$5,200 was raised to support the many Martha's Village’s services necessary to help break the cycle of homelessness in the Coachella Valley. Bud & June Nautel and Don & Gloria Mossman coordinated the event which was held on Feb. 27 & 28, 2010 with scores of other volunteers at the Sun City Shadow Hills Golf Course. There was a full field of 144 golfers that “Stimulated the Stimulus” by entering the putting contest and Jack & Jill format golf tournament. Martha’s Village was represented by Deirdre Evans, Director of Charitable Giving, who expressed heartfelt thanks on behalf of the thousands of homeless and less fortunate people served by their programs.
