Consider the Opportunities
There are several ways to support Martha's Village & Kitchen and partner agencies of Father Joe's Villages by combining the giving opportunities outlined here. We will work with you and your advisors to design a giving plan to fit your financial and charitable needs. We strongly recommend that you consult your own attorney relative to any plan of giving which may affect your future financial situation. While the information provided here reflects present laws, check with your financial advisor for changes in law or procedure.
Bequests
Remembering Martha's Village & Kitchen in your will or living trust is a personal way to extend the influence of your life and may bring significant estate tax savings. Your gift may be in the form of cash, securities, or property. A codicil or amendment to an existing will or living trust can be used to make simple changes such as naming an additional beneficiary. Informing Martha's Village & Kitchen of your will or living trust provisions allows us to thank you now for your contribution and to facilitate our financial plans.

Charitable Gift Annuity
A charitable gift annuity is a transfer of your financial assets or real estate to a nonprofit organization, such as Martha's Village & Kitchen, which pays you a fixed income for the rest of your life. The great benefit of charitable gift annuities is that they pay a much higher rate of return than an average money market fund or savings account. Depending on your age, you can receive between 6% and 11.3% return on your gift. Upon you death, the remaining principal is paid to the organization.
