Martha’s Village & Kitchen is a modern tale of manna in the desert - an answer to the prayers of the hungry in the Coachella Valley. Just as the biblical Martha selflessly tended to the needs of others, a dedicated corps of 70 staff and 300-plus volunteers tend to the needs of valley residents, serving 320,000 meals each year and providing clothing, emergency shelter and health care for children.

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, Verizon Foundation and
Bank of America Foundation continued
their recognition of the services provided by Martha's Medical Clinic with generous grants to help fund ongoing
clinic operating expenses.

The Bridges to Independence Program is
a way to recognizes residents for the hard work they do to reach self-sufficiency.
Residents earn units towards four
Bridges certificate levels and each graduate is acknowledged and receives
a Bridges Medallion and certificate.
