The Career & Education Center at Martha’s Village & Kitchen offers a range of services Monday-Friday. It consists of a computer lab for training and research; telephones; fax/copy services; and voice mail accounts where potential employers can leave messages. Newspapers are available and job leads and housing opportunities are posted.
At the Center neighbors in need receive help in obtaining a California driver’s license, California identification cards, birth certificates and bus passes. They can meet with a job developer/career counselor for help in obtaining employment. Notary services, tuition, books, uniforms and other work or school-related supplies are available on a case-by-case basis.
